The City of Cathedral City has closed the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater, corner of Avenida Lalo Guerrero and Cathedral Canyon Drive, to the public due to construction upgrades underway to make the park even better and more user friendly.

Stage Construction Approved for Cathedral City Community Amphitheater

City Council Names the Downtown Amphitheater Park
It’s official. The City Council at the April 10th meeting has named the new downtown amphitheater park that is scheduled to open this fall at the corner of Cathedral Canyon Drive and Avenida Lalo Guerrero. After nearly a year long process of taking community input and recommendations from the Cathedral City Parks and Community Events Commission, the council decided to name it as the “Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.”

Construction Begins on the New Downtown Amphitheater Park
CS Legacy Construction began fencing off the perimeter of the new downtown amphitheater park this morning as grading will commence on the new $3.7 million project next week. CS Legacy is charged with building all aspects of the park except for the stage portion of the park.
