Cathedral City Community Amphitheater Information

Welcome! We want you to have a wonderful time enjoying world-class music and events in a world-class setting at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater. Please see below for a few rules to remember while you are visiting with us. Most importantly, your activities must not negatively impact the enjoyment of others or contribute to any damage to the venue. Use caution and remember that you are visiting at your own risk.

General Park Regulations:

For the enjoyment and preservation of our city parks, please observe the following:

  1. Closed from dusk to dawn.
  2. Access to the amphitheater is subject to scheduled events. A ticket may be required for admittance. Events may be listed at www.DiscoverCathedralCity.com.
  3. Amplified music is not allowed without a permit. Please enjoy music through your personal headphones.
  4. No alcohol or cannabis allowed.
  5. All children ages 10 and under must be supervised by an adult.
  6. No littering, tagging, graffiti, or placement of stickers.
  7. No loitering.
  8. No portable generators without permit.
  9. Only Pepsi beverages allowed to be sold in park.
  10. Groups of 50 or more participants must apply for a special use permit to use the park.
  11. Climbing or hanging on venue structures or fence is prohibited. (Except for the Tot Lot)
  12. Laser pointers are prohibited.
  13. Bullhorns and noisemakers are prohibited without permit.
  14. By attending the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater, you agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for use in marketing, promotional and/or training materials.
  15. No smoking at any time.
  16. No guns, knives or weapons allowed.
  17. No pets allowed.
  18. No inflatables without permit.
  19. No drones without permit.
  20. No skateboarding or skating allowed.
  21. Any person violating any of the instructions or rules may be evicted from the park.

Park Regulations During Special Events:

In addition to the Park Regulations, observe the following during Special Events:

  1. No outside beverages allowed without event permission.
  2. Invited guests only.
  3. Park open only in accordance with a City issued Special Use Permit.
  4. Guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Upon arrival at the gate entrance, please have your bags open and available for review and inspection.
  5. If outside beverages allowed for an event, they must be in a factory sealed container upon entering park.
  6. Alert staff if you see a suspicious or unattended package.
  7. No Camp or lawn chairs allowed without event permission.
  8. The use of audio or video recording devices, professional cameras with removable lenses is not permitted during any performance.
  9. Setting up tables, booths, and signage (commercial or otherwise) is prohibited without permit.
  10. By trademark law, you may not reproduce the logo or represent any unauthorized affiliation with City of Cathedral City or Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.
  11. Private vending is prohibited, which includes, but is not limited to, the sale of merchandise, food, beverages, and tickets without permit and permission of event.
  12. Empty, reusable water bottles and, aluminum bottles (32 oz. or less) are permitted.
  13. Soft-sided coolers, six-pack size (10″ x 7″ x 7″ or smaller) when permitted by event.
  14. Cloth bags, soft packs (12” x 17” x 12” or smaller) including backpacks when permitted by event.
  15. Food for personal consumption only when permitted by event.
  16. Hard-sided coolers are prohibited.
  17. Bullhorns and noisemakers are prohibited.
  18. Framed backpacks are prohibited.
  19. Confetti, glitter and other items that can be thrown are prohibited.
  20. Prescription medication must be in the original prescription container with the patient’s name and dosage listed on the label.
  21. At entrances, venue medical staff will verify the medication and name on the label match the actual medication and patron’s identification.
  22. Patrons with more medication than is necessary for the duration of the show will be asked to return the excess medication to their vehicle.
  23. City of Cathedral City Management reserves final decision on items brought into the venue.
  24. Intoxicated patrons may be denied admittance to the Amphitheater.
  25. Protests must observe Free Speech zones for safety.

Any person violating any of the instructions or rules may be evicted from the park.
