Cathedral City Community Amphitheater Information

Welcome! We want you to have a wonderful time enjoying world-class music and events in a world-class setting at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater. Please see below for a few rules to remember while you are visiting with us. Most importantly, your activities must not negatively impact the enjoyment of others or contribute to any damage to the venue. Use caution and remember that you are visiting at your own risk.

General Park Regulations:

For the enjoyment and preservation of our city parks, please observe the following:

  1. Closed from dusk to dawn.
  2. Closed to uninvited guests during special events.
  3. No glass containers.
  4. No alcohol or cannabis allowed.
  5. All children ages 10 and under must be supervised by an adult.
  6. No animals allowed.
  7. No littering, tagging, graffiti, or placement of stickers.
  8. No firearms or weapons.
  9. No bounce houses or inflatables without permit.
  10. No portable generators without permit.
  11. Warning – 24-hour video surveillance.
  12. Only Pepsi beverages allowed to be sold in park.
  13. Any person violating any of the instructions or rules may be evicted from the park.
  14. Emergency, dial 9-1-1.

Park Regulations During Special Events:

  1. No outside alcohol beverages allowed.
  2. Guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Upon arrival at the gate entrance, please have your bags open and available for review and inspection.
  3. Liquids in factory sealed containers only.
  4. Only Pepsi products allowed to be sold in park.
  5. No recreational and smoking forms of cannabis or illegal drugs
  6. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.
  7. No weapons.
  8. No glass bottles or containers.
  9. No pets during events.
  10. Emergency, dial 9-1-1.
  11. Alert staff if you see a suspicious or unattended package.
  12. Camp chairs with legs are permitted in concrete seating bowl and the back portion of the lawn between the wall and hashtags indicated on the lawn only.
  13. No remote-controlled flying devices. UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) are prohibited.
  14. The use of audio or video recording devices, professional cameras with removable lenses is not permitted during any performance.
  15. By attending the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater, you agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for use in marketing, promotional and/or training materials.
  16. Violators are subject to ejection.
  17. City of Cathedral City Management reserves final decision on items brought into the venue. Intoxicated patrons may be denied admittance to the Amphitheater.
  18. Access to the amphitheater is subject to scheduled events. A ticket may be required for admittance.
  19. Amplified music is not allowed (unless permitted by the venue); please limit the enjoyment of music to headphones.
  20. Climbing or hanging on venue structures is prohibited.
  21. Setting up tables, booths, and signage (commercial or otherwise) is prohibited without permit.
  22. By trademark law, you may not reproduce the logo or represent any unauthorized affiliation with City of Cathedral City or Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.
  23. The use of skateboards and roller blades is prohibited.
  24. Private vending is prohibited, which includes, but is not limited to, the sale of merchandise, food, beverages, and tickets without permit.
  25. Groups using park with 50 or more participants will need a special use permit.
  26. Empty, reusable water bottles and, aluminum bottles (32 oz. or less) are permitted
  27. Soft-sided coolers, six-pack size (10″ x 7″ x 7″ or smaller) when permitted by event
  28. Cloth bags, soft packs (12” x 17” x 12” or smaller) including backpacks when permitted by event
  29. Food for personal consumption only when permitted by event
  30. Laser pointers are prohibited
  31. Hard-sided coolers are prohibited.
  32. Bullhorns and noisemakers are prohibited.
  33. Framed backpacks are prohibited.
  34. Confetti, glitter and other items that can be thrown are prohibited.
  35. Prescription medication must be in the original prescription container with the patient’s name and dosage listed on the label.
  36. At entrances, venue medical staff will verify the medication and name on the label match the actual medication and patron’s identification.
  37. Patrons with more medication than is necessary for the duration of the show will be asked to return the excess medication to their vehicle. In instances where this is not possible, the medication will be stored with medical staff in the first aid room at the concession stand or disposed of.
